Vistex Website Prototypes

Design Process

During my Vistex Internship, had an opportunity to create some event cards, and prototypes a potential webpage.

Here’s the Design Process.

Task & Research

During the my time at Vistex, one of the website UX Designers wanted to update the company’s events page to be more modern and streamlined. They tasked me to do some design research and create event cards that follows Vistex’s style guide.

The new event cards must include:

  • Event title; including name, date, place, and key descriptions
  • External Links; for booking or learning more
  • About description, and the ability to have this optional
  • Optional Event Picture
  • All event cards must be stackable
High Fidelity Designs

Using the design principals of modern event organization apps, I was able to create simple yet effective designs that includes the required features.

I’ve created a base design that includes all four key aspects. Then created sub-designs that excluded the optional features (like event pictures). From there, I’ve experimented on different sizes, stack orientation, and colors. Furthering this, the webpage itself goes more into these different designs and presentation.

Final Prototypes

At the end, I was able to create five different webpage prototypes that features all the different color combinations in both event cards and webpage sections.

I wasn’t able to see the final results during my internship; but as of current, Vistex has implemented most design aspects of my prototypes.
